I with the school girl’s volleyball team participated in interclass tournament. I am proud of my team as we win first place of five. For this tournament we were preparing for about month and we excelled suspiciuos teamwork.

During the quarentine, tidying up the wardrobe rised the idea how to reuse my old, no longer portable but neat clothes for new life. I decided to upload clothes in Vinted platform. In my opinion it is a simple but relevant step for reducing the ecological footprint. Also, in this way I am not only creating more sustainable environment but also improving the soft skills – communication with customers, improving the bussiness management skills, for example, creating the presentation (photographing) and learning to pack and send shipments.

This day year I started to learn driving. One of the most challenging experience that year was to learn the driving theory and practice. I had never drive before and the learning of driving skills required patience and stubbornness. Firstly, for about month and half I read the road traffic regulations theory and solved various tasks. It was a really confusing at first because the questions were formulated confusingly and the answers needed to be based on critical thinking. However, I overcome the theory and pass the theory exam at first time. Later, I participated in the practical lessons with driving instructor which took for about 30 hours. In every driving lesson I learned new driving, parking and maneuver skills as I was primer in driving. Nevertheless, I managed to pass the practical exam at firs time as same as theory one. I think that to learn driving was the one of the most affront-able challenge in my life. Consequently, I master it and could say very well and I am driving until today without any hard accidents. In my opinion, the driving is essential skill which is beneficial for all life long.

 

I with my mom decided to help our community to overcome the danger of Covid-19 infection by making and sharing the masks for our city residents. The idea to make masks raised as government decided that wearing masks is mandatory for everyone, but in supermarkets and pharmacies was shortage of masks. In about two weeks we made for about 300 hundred masks which we gave for neighbors, family members, relatives, friends and acquaintances. It was wonderful service as we gave it for free and worked in single free hour.

I was cut clippings needed for masks from various colors material, worth the rubber and packaged while mom was sewing. After mom started to learn me how to sew by myself and it was great chance to learn the sewing skills. Before I could sew only hands but now I am able to sew with sewing machine. Considering the social action, it was great experience to volunteer for community, share the essential masks with relevant and to learn new skills.

Together with two class members we participated in the multilingual language project. It was aimed to integrate two languages: Russian and Lithuanian trough singing. It was great chance to remember and refresh the Russian language skills and to create innovative performance.

This year I decided to involve in new sport – badminton. I had never played it before but my friend encourage to participate in this activity after school. At first I was learning the basic technique skills for about two months. Later I started to play in the couple and succeeded quite well. In the new occupation I found new friends and improved my physical condition. Today I participated in the first badminton tournament. However, it was not very successful because we won only two battles of six. I hope that in the future I with my partner improve our skills and achieve higher positions.

February 16 together with class members and teacher we decided to join the mention of public holiday. This day is important for our country history and is considered as public holiday. Together we walked to town square there town residents made the live chain. We sang the anthem and raised the state flag. It was wonderful to develop citizenship and to raise the community. Also, we foster the country’s tradition.

This winter I first time tried to skiing. The friend in the middle of the photo is highly skilled in skiing so she helped to learn the technique of skiing. It was really challenging as I never skied before. At the begging I was afraid of mountain height but venture to the new activity. It was amazing experience as the friends helped for me to learn no skiing skills and new, not explored activity

During the geography internal assessment one of the tasks was to survey the nearest village residents. I with my friend decided to involve in the village community carnival and to communicate with them before celebration. It was nice to interact with the neighboring residents, involve in their customs and traditions.

Before Christmas our high school graduates organize the Christmas carnival. This year as I am high school graduate I joined to the decoration group. It was really amazing experience to create decorations for traditional event. Also, it was great chance to share my imagination of decoration ideas with other group members and to make collaborative decisions.
